Sq. inches is not an unit for volume... and I already mentioned to disregard the port dimensions posted above, i.e., you might as well start from scratch since you are building a new cabinet anyway.

i like the David B Weems approach start with the port tube a little long and trim after verifying the results with an impedance sweep.
