Jason,
For Stereo Aleph 30, is the couple of capacitors (2 each of .22 and .0033) & thermistor on the primary side of the transformer included in the power supply kit? If not, could you add that in .... for a fee?
Could you also include the transistors insulators .... just so that we don't have to spend extra for shipping fee from vendors.
Thanks.

380LQ473M035A052 CDE SNAP-IN ALUM CAP 35V 47000uF 35x50
(This one is min order 100 NCNR)
I would be interested in coordinating a GB for 200 to 500 pcs for the first four. There are a lot of variables to consider when trying to narrow a choice to one.
105 or 85 Deg.
35 - 50 - 63 VDC
Must be Snap In
Must be Max width 40mm x ??(Height a consideration)
Price Range based on min 200 pcs - Target $8 to $16 CAD.

Not much feedback on whether anyone is interested in some serious Caps for Brians PSU Boards.
Here is what I have narrowed the choices down too.
Panasonic- immediate availablility of 200 plus units
39,0000uF @50VDC 85Deg. 40x80 $13 each CAD plus shipping.
Cornell Dubillier - 90 Days Deliver Custom Order
39,000uF @50VDC 85Deg. 40x80 $18 each CAD plus shipping
To go ahead I would need orders for at least 200 peices, at 6 per kit that would be enough for 33 kits.
I myself would prefer the Panasonic Caps, even though the CDE are arguably a better cap, the convenience of the local supplier is a big plus. As this purposed GB would be run from Canada all Canadian taxes have been included in the price and would be applicable wherever they would be shipped to... Sorry..
In CAD dollars the savings for 6 Caps would be $51.12, Shipping would be extra whether through a GB or direct from Vendor.
If there is enough interest, I could ask Brian to help with an order page.

Anthony
I'd like to order too
Hello I do not know exactly how to order the Aleph mini for stereo, but I post here so that I do not miss the deadline.
Please let me know of further direction while I try to read all the thread.
Thanks!

What is appening with the Part Group Buy?
May we have some NEWS or comments from the parts buyers , jleaman and Coulomb?

PierreG-
Don't stress, the money we sent them is sitting safely in their bank account making us all 14% interest.
Uuhh, yeah right!
Actually I'm sure they are still sorting parts and matching mosfets.
But an update and planned ship date would be nice.

I am not sure why Jason has not posted any recent updates for the GB. That said, here is what's happenning:
I am still matching FET's.
I am still waiting for a large Back Order of the power supply caps to arrive, expected May 24th. A bonus here that a lot of the Kit purchasers may not be aware of is that Jason had quoted 15KuF caps in the kits, where as I was able to procure 22KuF for a little extra dosh, which Jason kicked in.
The 220uF 35VDC caps I ordered came in two different shipments with a Vendor substitution. I arranged a return on the caps and recently picked up the new ones. Now Nichicon VX 105Deg. low ESR caps will be provided inplace of the Nichicon SU 85 Deg. caps originally purchased.
All Resistors supplied will be Vishay/Dale 71-CCFS series in place of the Phoenix Brand from Brian's BOM.
The 0.47R 5 Watt resistors will be Vishay/Serifice in place of Panasonic.
Zeners are Telefunken
Caps are Wima where possible.
I know that wait can be agonizing, but I do not expect Jason will have the parts for kitting until the end of May. In order to cut delivery time to a minimum I have started doing some kit preperation for Jason while I wait for parts and while away the hours matching FET's

Anthony
I'm not stressed at all 🙂 .
I just wanted to have some feedback from you guys.
Thanks for the reply and your BIG work.

Anthony/Jason,
What I would like to know is what is NOT included in the kit. Some examples ... is FET pads, thermister, blue LED ... included in the kit? I think you can see where I'm going with this. If some items are not included in the kit but it's absolutely necessary (e.g. blue LED), we should plan on ordering them ourselves so that we do have all the parts when it's time to built the amps.

Red Led is included
There is no thermistor pad so it is not in Brian's BOM so it's not in the kit. The FET pads were not included either as they were not in the BOM.
As the kits will not be shipping for a while yet (Sorry) I do not mind buying these items in bulk before I ship to Jason, but then I would need to get more funds from Jason who is just hanging by his fingernails budget wise as it is.

Hey Brian!
I did a long search through this entire thread and the Aleph Mini and came up empty handed.
Would you be so kind as to post a BOM for the PS boards for Aleph Mini and 5?
Thank you in advance!
