Um maybe you should write more clearly?
yeah that is correct info. What is the problem ?
To add to this a mini's are 40$
Put another way:
Parts kit for Mini-A: $40USD
Parts kit for A30: $55USD
Parts kit for PS(either amp): $60USD
Parts kit for Mini-A: $40USD
Parts kit for A30: $55USD
Parts kit for PS(either amp): $60USD

Agreed. Why are we making payments if this is not already nailed down? If I had known the parts were TBD, I wouldn't have paid until the BOM was final.
All in all, most people would probably prefer the lower Gate capacitance devices for any number of reasons. Somewhat better high end and lower distortion, primarily. Not that higher capacitance devices won't work, but there's no reason to bog down the front end trying to charge and discharge that capacitance if you don't need it.
The Mini-A is not going to find wide application as a subwoofer amplifer. Fullrange and/or tweeters (multi-amped system) are the intended purpose. Might as well tweak the little fellers towards their destiny.

Fist what does BOM mean ?
And second the parts have not changed i made a simple mistake asi already told you guys i'm sick..
Ok guys, let's chill a bit for a few days. Let Jason get better, then we can continue. There is no rush, the boards haven't even been made yet, so a couple of days here or there hurts no one. Then when he gets better, we can get all this stuff sorted properly.
Jason, Go back to bed and rest up! You will need all your stamina for sorting and matching, so get fit first! 🙂

I hope this mini thread diminishes soon, but to make it clear:

. . an ambiguus statement. Because you made no clear reference to anything other than Psu, it looked like A30 Psu kits are 55$, and A30 Psu kits 55$; and again made no reference to currency,
As you’re communicating to 30? 50? buyers, from diffrent countriews and following the thread with differnt degrees of intest, etc, I’m simply suggesting that before posting you look for any potential ambiguity
I wrote the above before I read WorkingAtHome’s post
WAH
you put it perfectly clearly, thank you
End of mini thread
Cheers

Hi Guys,
I'm a little confused, I hope someone can help!
1) How do we calculate the shipping cost?
2) What email address should we use for PayPal payments?
3) When is the deadline? Is it 4-11-05?
Thanks for the help.

Jason, that was a bit sudden!
I'd put everyone on hold because you were ill, now you come straight back and close the GB with no notice. Not fair I think.
BTW, I moved this from the pcb thread, as I thought it best to seperate the two group buys.

I second that. I'm still waiting for information about the shipping price and how to send my payment.
Can somebody make it clear for once, please?
Jason:
Some of this confusion is due to the fact that the details of the GB are really not contained on the wiki page. Rather, participants are required to parse through the thread and pick up details like the component lists and shipping costs and USD's vs. C$ and cap sizes and transistor model numbers, etc.
I think this might substantially increases YOUR workload whilst you answer individual emails with the same old same old.
Peace/Out

Order
I thought that I only needed to put my order on the wiki together with destination country and I would get notified by mail with the total cost so I could pay.
I havnt found the shipping cost when reading the thread?
Best regards ///Carl-Fredrik

I think shipping cost on the component kits might be still to be determined as there are so many variables.
Jason has way more A30 kits to assemble than he expected.

YEAH NO KIDDING I have 50 kits to build 500 fets to match : O ) but all well worth it. And if the shipping is more that i expected people will get emails as im not pyaing for no ones shipping : O)
some advice on matching that many fets.... don't do them all at once otherwise you'll go crazy....
try 250 at a time. i match at .75A for 30 seconds each and then read the meter. don't go too crazy watching the clock... its easy to do. 🙂
of course, you probably already know about this so... 🙂 good luck Jason
