I thought it went great, and thanks to the efforts of everyone involved. At the end I was envious of the wine glasses appearing in the images on screen, but I managed to stick it out.
Although I was drinking alone because my wife didn't want any that early, it didn't feel like it. Seeing Mike with a glass in his hand made me feel quite comfortable. 🙂
A great initiative, many thanks for all involved in organizing and making it go smoothly. I couldn't attend everything but enjoyed the parts I managed to see.
Still, I hope next year to be there in the flesh, so to say.
One comment: if it could start a few hours earlier if would fit much better in the waking periods of many outside of North America.
Although there will still be some inconveniences of course, I accept that.

A wonderful virtual bruhaha.
Given that it was a Zoom meeting with people all over the world it really went well. Far fewer glitches that expected given this was the first time it was held online. Kudos to everyone involved in organizing it.
It was nice putting faces to names, too. Bravo.
