on a jl audio amp, I have a fluke 87, not sure how to read inductance on it.

That Fluke does not measure inductance. Why do you need to do so?

If it doesn't look burnt or damaged, chances are that it is in a good condition. These critters tend to be quite robust

Yeah, just measure the resistance, and compare with the other similar ones.
If not open circuit, it's probably ok.

I need to order some cause the 3 others burnt, I desoldered this one in the pic to measure it to find the right ones to get.

Measure their DC resistances. Maybe the coating just melted, and they are still functional.
Otherwise you need a schematic, or to measure it.
