Hello folks
I have a Kirksaeter RTX400 here, which has now been completely overhauled, but is a bit problematic when setting it up. There is a setting point specified as "level control amplification", but no value is available. I would generally assume that this (and a wattmeter on the output) is used to set the output. However, I don't have a device for measuring power. Is there any advice on how I should do this?

This is a "class b" output amplifier, you should not use it.
R301 is adjustment for current feedback. it should be tuned
according to the speaker in use.

“Should not use it”? I wouldn’t go that far, but I wouldn’t expect the world of it. Class B has its limits but they did use it in the days of old. It could be converted to class AB with a bit of work, and sound better, but you’d either already need to know what you are doing or commit to using this as a learning exercise.
The current feedback control sets the output impedance. The Zout interacts with the loudspeaker driver (will range from boomy and warm to tight but perhaps shrill and in your face with upper midrange emphasis). Tune it to YOUR liking. There is no “correct” setting.

Thanks for the answers!
I don't use this receiver, but I'm trying to get it back in shape as best as I can. It's a favor for a friend. The amp is already running the other way around and I have to say, it really doesn't sound bad. More for a small party, but it's really fun to listen to.
But how do I set R301 (as an example) to 4 ohms?
Adapting to the listening impression is easy in itself, but subjective and not perhaps a little negligent with regard to perfection?
