How do you think about this amplifier?

I see her wearing 65vdc = 45 vac, and using 4 pairs tr finals, how to get 1000 watt output?
sorry my bad english

1000W output with +/-65V rails???
realistic power: 225Wrms at 8ohm. 400Wrms at 4ohm.
bridged you can get 800Wrms at 8ohm any lower impedance demands a lot of outputs.

I took it out of their group, as they are a group of very excited, PA is claimed to be capable of 1000 watts to 2500 watts in bridged mode
i can claim that i have a 1000W amp running on +/-30V. but that don't make it true🙂
fantasy power and realistic power is not the same🙂
realistic power for this amp is:
60*0.707=42.4Vrms.
42.4*42.4/8ohm=224.7Wrms

maybe even a 4ohm load would close it down if pushed hard ?
Pretty Meaningless Power Output 🙂
what do you mean meaningless? Marketing types love it. 😉
Nah, ... maybe it can be done 😛maybe even a 4ohm load would close it down if pushed hard ?
How to make it real 500Wrms at 4 ohm?
Can we modified it?
So we can call it 1000Wrms stereo 😀
What I dont get is that if you can get Sanken output transistors, presumably the MT-200 types, why on earth would you not be able to get better driver transistors than TIP41/2? VAS stage is another matter but even the MJE340/350 would work well here. And why diode biasing?
It looks like a subwoofer amp to me. Everything looks crude.
Then for that sort of output power would a triple EF not be a good idea?

More seriously, would you want to operate an amplifier of that power with no protection against DC, short circuits etc. Wouldn't plug my speakers into it.
