Rajeev,
Yes, they are all good in both hi-fi and power. I'm currently working on the TA3020, particularly on PCB Design for my prototype. If you want more power, TA0105 will do 500W/ch. This is a link

Hello,
Thanks for the link , these class T amps seem to be same as class D and very interesting . Please let me know of the progress of your amp with this driver ic , also can they be used in bridge mode ?
What about the power supply , can a normal supply be used ?
With Best Wishes

Hi Rajeev,
Tripath has an office in Bangalore itself, contact them on their website and they will give a CD and also arrange evaluation kits if you insist.
I am saying this because they have contacted me last year.

kanwar

,is it that good ???

Re: Zeta PCB
Hello Lars,
are you still working on the Zeta? 😉
Well, I'm coming up with a board design for a single output pair. I plan to make it expandable (multiple output fets without a complete redesign of the layout).
You explicitly state that the Zeta schematic may be distributed freely for non-commercial use, but You never said anything about actual PCB layouts.
So, is it okay for you to see board designs discussed on the forums?
Kind help of yours with questions that might arise would be great, as I'm not an engineer 😉

hi Rajeev saab,
I think Mr.LC_man is busy in some sort of important task , maybe R&D in protection and balanced inputs.
Hope for earliest solution available to you.

Dear kanwar,
I am sure Lars is a busy man. As far as protection is concerned we definately had a look the way yours went.
Here at least we have a proven design from a commercial man who delivers to the DIY community. Still looking forward to your great amp schematics and topologies and ah yes the site too????
Still being in India do not have a decent dealer address for the great stallions or brochure I am sure the other country diyers are having them its just my shortcomings.
Hoefully in far future I may be blessed with the great sound of the workhorse.
Regards
Rahul

Hello Lars,
to my dissapointment, I still have not received any pcb from you.
Are you still working on it? or there something wrong with the design?

Zeta Amplifier Heatsink Components
Ok, I have seen mixed feedback on what devices need to be mounted on the heatsink aside from the irfp250's. Lars, could you run through the specific list?
Also, anyone have a good method of mounting a TO-92 package to the heatsink?
Thank you so much, this question is bothering me badly!

I used local feedback to make the mosfets behave somewhat like normal transistors, at least for the voltage they need to turn on.
R6, R7 and R13 are there to stop the transistors from blowing up when the fets run out of voltage.
The reason I designed this amp is because I want to make 4 bi-amped active loudspeakers and I can get these fets for 10 eurocents each 😎
The only downside is they are 55 volts 🙁 but 75 amps 😀
I like this. Did you get it built yet. ? Can i make a board for this ? Please email me.. jason..
