A quick word on the BOM

Things are looking very good. After lots of running around it seems that we have found sources for everything with enough parts in stock (much harder than I had hoped...). We are very close to being able to post the final BOM so folks can see what the money goes for. I think you'll like it.

The good news is that we are still confident in the 65$ price tag for a pair (+ shipping). I am working through the details on the shipping charge. Foreign countries we'll do on a 1-1 basis as there are too many vagaries. It will need to be a tracked form of delivery as a way of helping to protect both parties in the deal.

So we are definitely very close to pulling the trigger, i.e., taking money via paypal. Basically I won't actually place the big parts order until I know that we have actual orders (as in: money has been sent) for the 100+ kits (50+ pairs). The $ amounts are kind of big and we don't want to be stuck with lots of inventory (the goal is to cover our financial behinds and not start a business).

email problem

Since I have made only a few posts, I am under moderation and am not allowed to email you. This will also make it difficult to send money via paypal which also requires an email address.
Can you provide an email address somehow - like maybe emailing me.

I did enable the private message option, and the option that allows administrators and moderators to send me email notices. So I'm hoping it works and looking forward to getting a new project. Thanks for putting it together.

This is not holding anything up for those of you who have responded.
BTW on Saturday I sent one of my prototypes boards to Peter. He would like to try to populate it with what we believe to be the final BOM. That way we will have two guys independently populate the board looking for fit and errors.
