I'm so happy! I've never done any sort of PCB soldering/desoldering, but I got my amp modded in the usual way, and it works! It sounds fantastic. The LED stopped working (gonna investigate right now) and i can't turn it up too high becuause of my wussy 1000ma power supply, but all is good
ok, i checked it out, and my LED power output is reading 12v. I could have swore it was only 2v before. Someone else said it was 2v also. Very strange... anybody know whats going on?

i had a look at the voltage across the stock LED in my modified amp and it's 2V.
Re: Re: My SI modded amp works!
ok, thats what I thought. Oh well, mine's putting out 12v, and with the proper resistor on a new LED, its working just fine Oh well, I'm not complaining
