Hey guys, its been a while since I was here and I just thought I would update on my projector. I ditched the whole thing and bought one. I bought a NEC MT1075 and oh boy is it nice. It can do 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p and some other things I'll never even use. 4200 Lumens, but I put it on the eco mode to save the bulb a lil more with a life expectancy of 4000 at 2000 Lumens. The image is projected on a 4x8 piece of melamine believe it or not. It really helps during dark parts in movies.

Here are some pics of it in action..

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Sorry about the poor shots, if anyone wants I can try and make some better shots later on.

Hi !
your projector is very good, how much you got it ?

I think 2000 is OK! but that is 3400 ANSI on the eco mode :

WOW! That's one seriously big picture! i am jealous!
good find indeed.I just picked up a Infocus In72 and already i am ready to step it up to the more powerfull and expensive IN76.

Do you get any pixalation when it get's that size? i can adjust mine to a huge image but the brightness gets lower and the quality begins to lag :dead:
It's only 700 lumens in eco mode so i understand it's gonna loose some umpth at that size, plus native resolution is only like 845x480 or something like that, i know it's the ghetto projector- but for $500 and HD inputs the picture on DVD (480p)is pretty sweet 😀
