Yea, you can make it eat 1080p but it still is a 1024x768 res projector, and that's why I would NEVER EVER pay 2 grands for that! 
why not?? isn't that a good resolution number to have? i am looking to upgrade myself, i have only 480p on mine...got bored of it real quick ! lol
