Here is a picture of the assembled units. I still have to wire them, but that's easier than all the build up to this point. I spent a day alone just sanding and polishing the tops.

Let me be the first to say that those look beautiful. I just built my first amp using similar tools to what you have, and your work puts mine to shame 🙂
What's the name of the company that sold you the completed chassis? I've seen them online before but lost the link. They also make those turret boards with the tube sockets mounted right on them.
its on the tip of my tongue....

Nice point?
"These point-to-point terminal boards are literally taking the DIY and Hi-Fi market by storm."
Glad to see some are getting on the bandwagon.

Hi,
Has it become a bandwagon?
If so it would only please me since I've taken that train 18 years ago already...
Not that I should take any credit for that of course.
Happy to see my choices confirmed nonetheless,😉
\There's that skeptical wink again.

A quote from Tubebuilder
Not only them, but over the last several years I have noticed alot of sites mentioning simplicity. After seeing some older equipment it is good to see improvements being implemented.
There are still some at a chat site or two that won't accept the premise that sonic differences occur by this suggestion. 🙂

Hi,
Their loss..not ours.
And their are ways to top even your bascic P2P and C2C too...
Mr.Feedback will love me forever to bring this back up....
Cheers,😉

Not familiar with...
the term "P2P and C2C". Probably know what you are talking about, but haven't heard this term before.
Yes, it is their loss. Too bad.
Thanks.

Hi,

This should read: And there are ways to top even your basic P2P and C2C too.
You of all people don't understand?
Crickey...you virtually invented the term:
P2P = Point to Point.
C2C = Component to Component.
One way to top the latter is C2C wirewrapping...at least that's my opinion.
Cheers,😉

Gulp...
Embarrassment, getting ready to stick my head into the oven.
Well, you know there are problems when the doc says he saw daylight when checking my ears.
Now I know.

Looks very nice Wards..
It is nice to see people use their imaginations like Wards and Frank to build nice looking equipment.
Nice job.

...wow...
Nice job!
Are you trained as a wireman?
It looks like the work my prototype wireman produces... and I don't...

Re: ...wow...
Well, kind of. I've been in electronics for over 20 years and spent ten years working for a research & development firm. I did a lot of stuff for the Military and NASA. I've worked everything from hand wire wrapping prototypes to hot air surface mount rework. My passion lies in audio where my two lives come together.
