small update

i finally installed the condensor lens properly...and it....looks...GRRRRRREAT! (my apologies to Tony the tiger... lol:-D) it looks IDENTICAL to when i look into the LCD panel, and now games look good! movies look better than before and etc... and im amazed at how my cable tv input has improved even Ps2 looks good. i dont even have a set screen yet since im not using my diy one any more. i dont even want to buy a monitor any more im sticking with this panel...for at LEAST 2-4 years...until i get my own apartment...and so on.

my only problem now is screenwhise ( its not a HUGE problem!) and black borders on movies while watchin 16:9 movies i dont like the black borders 🙁 i didnt have any problems with this on my bedsheet/vinyl screen but thats gone now... well any ways thats my update.basically using a condensor lense SHOULD VASTLY improve your overall image, get one!

ok i emailed 1000bulbs.com asking them for the size of their 400 watt reduced jacket MH bulb and heres their response "THE

Far as I know...could be wrong...the 8 5/16" is the length of the lamp, the 5" is the circumferance of the lamp. Still a prety big lamp.

Condensor lens....

well, i cant instert the condensor lens correctly no matter which way i set it up only the middle right side of the projected image looks good(great really) but the left is blurry 🙁

so for the time being i wont be using the C. lens. until i can find a way to use it properly, i want it to look kinda like the guy who had one @DIYLABS results page.

condensor lens............

SUCCESS! sweet success! i finally found the problem with my installation of the C. Lens. My OHp only has 3 legs the 4th rubber leg is missing so its kinda leaning..SO i put an old N64 game underneath it to ake it stand straight and THAT was why the C. lens wasnt working right,I removed the N64 game from it and VOILA the C. lens works beautifully...and my OHP is crooked..oh well lol

and i did some gaming tests.. GTA:VC looks good the same for GTAIII and the HULK looked good as well, Sonic 2 was great! but the problem all these share is the color, im pretty sure getting a white source would help this.

Playing GTAIII in cinema cam mode is beautiful :') im sure someone would LOVE this panel i will try a higher CR:1 panel as soon as i sell it.

i put it under the OHP to give it leverage...geez u know i stopped drinking man 🙁 lol

i thought i made it clear...the OHP is missing a LEG so it leans to the side placing a N64 cart under it made it stand straight, but i was higher then the other OHP legs so i removed the cart and now its in allighment................smart ***....lol
