ironical ?

for a conical membran as an bending wave transductor,
you need to know the sound speed in the material,
than you must form the membran that the sound
release in correct time and look on the dipol frequence.

If you make it like a horn the bending wave is very difficult,
you get a stiffer membran and less bending waves??

you mean for Walsh like speaker or traditional speaker?
They require different materials and forms I think.
some paper made by hand may be qualified.

To obtain best results with translation software, please write short, simple, grammatically correct sentences. Please use correct spelling. If you are a native speaker of English, never write in "broken" English. Broken English will produce broken translations.

If you know any language other than English, use the online translation software to translate your English into the language you know. Keep rephrasing until your sentences can be translated effectively into that language. The resulting English can probably be translated well into many languages.

If you know only English, use the online translation software to translate your English into another European language, and then take the result and retranslate it back into English. Keep rephrasing until your sentences can be retranslated back into understandable English. Don't worry if the retranslated English is not perfect; it will rarely be perfect. If your English sentences can first be translated into another European language, and then retranslated into useful English, they can probably be translated well into many languages.

This approach requires the writer to make extra effort. However, if we want to communicate effectively, we must make this extra effort. If we write translatable English, then persons who cannot speak English will be able to understand us by expending some effort. But if we don't write translatable English, then persons who cannot speak English will be unable to understand us regardless of their effort.

I'm not clear about how does bending wave work.I guess it works whether the shape of cone is like horn or drum or straight cone, they are different in efficiency and response of frequency,am I right?
Because of it's complexity,a lot of experiments and calculate would be done.I can program on my computer, but need know the principle of bending wave and a lot of time🙂

Some german bear are made of very thin and light aluminium, and could be good fore a "walsh" cone
There exit some special coloured tinn foil fore making stuff fore a christmass tree .... a danish guy have experimented with that making "walsh" cones
He also made one of paper .... 2 meter tall .... :hot:
