I was wondering if someone knew of a good place to buy the replacement RCA jacks that are attached to the Amplier circuit board it has 4 2 for the inputs and 2 for the pass outputs to another amplifer i cant seem to locate one anywhere ?

I have 3 MTX amps that have the same connections one of the Amps model numbers MTX Thunder 152 and i have a few pictures here of that they looked amagine that all 3 of my amps have this issue i sure hope none of the others do guess thats what happens when you lend them to a friend and you tell them to be very careful with that jacks i always knew they were very sensitive

Heres a few pictures sorry for the light my phone camera is all I have. My digital camera's batteries are dead so I cant use that for better pictures

all of them have bad ground sheilds on the rcas the pins that connect to the ground on the board to the rca jacks is broke on all of them i can visual see them i did temp fix one of the amps by un welding the plastic dots on the back swapping the rca ground shield from the output channels which i use placed it on the input side and the speaker channels both worked without noise going through the speakers it was picking up before so im assuming my other 2 amps have the same problem hopefully nothing more is at fault due to these lose connections

I have the nickel, didnt ever bother looking for the gold plated. I have never had an issue with the nickel nor do I think its possible for the human ear to tell a difference in sound quality of a different coating on your shields!!!

Good luck my friend!!

reason i prefer the gold ones is it fits the 2 of my amps because there the mtx thunder gold series amps there mint so i prefer the nickel not to stick out with the MTX logos and also keep its same factory look atleast i know its sounds rediculous doesnt it lol

im going to try and call MTX tomorrow and see where they get there boards from maybe they may have some laying around hey thanks anyways man i just cant believe these are so hard to find how much are you asking for 3 of those quad nickel jacks? I think that would be a better temp fix i just dont want to take the chance of the wire coming unsoldered and causing major damage to the amps if it hasnt already the boards are farely new they were only installed in a car for 3 months i tried soldering the end of the pin back on where it broke it would stick
