I'm building a Tubelab SE.
I'm reading the manual and reviewing the parts I ordered from Digikey (thanks George).
The thing is that it says to mount a mylar insulator between the heatsink and the semiconductor, but Digikey did not send me these insulators.
Should I have buyed them (there wasn't a key in parts list) or should they have come with the semiconductors?
Now where can I find them o replace with what?
Thanks for the help

Are the semiconductors plastic construction or metal tab? If plastic use heatsink compound only. If metal use heatsink compound and mylar insulators.

They are metal.
The problem is that I dont' know where to fin mylar insulators, anyway lookiing aroud have discovered that Digikey part is : BER114-ND
Thanks for help

The insulators are something you need to buy. They are also important because the metal tabs are considered 'hot'.
I used this (4724K-ND):
4724 Keystone Electronics | 4724K-ND | DigiKey
If you don't want to make an order just for this, I've had good like salvaging the mounting hardware and insulators from junk boards (UPS battery backups are a good source).

Sorry, not thinking, didn't correct the quotation from the questioner. Either use mica with heat-sink compound or silicone and no compound.
