Most attractive speakers

I find that Sonus Faber makes the most attractive speakers i have ever seen. I saw them for the first time (in real life) today, and WOW, it really inspired me to make some more that look that nice.

Anyone else seen speakers as good looking?

I hate to say this: speakers are ugly in general. This is one reason I am very interested in those open baffle with acrylic baffle.

I think they are ugly. If you hold your ear close you can hear the ocean, or a noisly amplifier stage, what a rush.

I never did like that look on Cadillacs either. I have to always consider function and safety, and that longest tip appears to be too close to eye or throat level of my 3 year old, so "not no, but hell no".

I nominate the Eames-styled Stephens Tru-Sonic. I also like the subtle humor of the two-toned cats.

I don't want to be naughty but I find almost all Eames designs bug ugly.

The Sonus Faber Amati Homage is indeed one of the most beautiful speakers. Technically there would be room for improvement tough.

As far as the Nautilus goes: This design is far from being perceived as neutral (optically). One either likes it or not IMO, htere's nothing inbetween. But it is a very distinctive design-statement and very FFF (Form Follows Function).

Just goes to show you how subjective this all is. I personally like the Nautilus but fully understand that others don't.

On the other hand the Artis Karrisima, to me, looks like a one eyed emperor penguin wrapped in a blanket. I get very little visual satisfaction from it.

At the same time I tend to agree with 454Casull regarding "Function is the ultimate style"

So I guess here are my favourites, my babies.
