See the end of this post:Project 16, do you have a circuit diagram ?

For information the actual version is USSA-5:
Amplificateur USSA-5 : évolution de la conception de la version 4
For safe testing of poweramps i have this :
Stelltrafo TST280/6 Equipment Technisch-Physikalische Werkst
Stelltrafo TST280/6 Equipment Technisch-Physikalische Werkst
My build has BD139/140.
There s a dual EF for the VAS so they wont be worse than the BFs.
There s some details to consider, first is that it s an inverting amp, second is unless there s an active DC correction you ll have to play with one resistance or two to set the offset at exact value.
Otherwise this design should do better than -90dB THD at 1KHz, with TMC it can be about -100dB, also, last detail is that two pairs for the OS would be a good idea.
I like this design too :

I will stay with the AXL though or it gets too confusing.
Anyway, i already learned something

Circlophone TIP142
Hallo Joachim.
I would fully agree to Patrick. The F5- and the F5X- build by himself are
different Animals.
Like all Pass constructions very robust.
You will be surprised how good the Amp is playing- i have build one with clone
boards and FQA parts.
Can i warm up you to Circlophone?
I have a pair with TIP142 output on tiny board. It is fixed biased to ~ 150mA,
needs max. 10k input Pot and plays with dynamic too.
If you like i can send it to you for listening test.
Only a 24-0-24VAC 160VA Trafo is needed.
Picture from test.
Bangla.

This simple little FH11 amp sounds better than SKA GB150 according to someone who has heard a lot of amps.

Or you can build this one, 100W version. http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/solid-state/243481-200w-mosfet-cfa-amp-92.html#post4580555

That looks like a nice design but much more complex.
That looks like a nice design but much more complex.
If you look carefully it's not so complex, there CCSs and cap multipliers, but the amp is quite simple CFA.
I still have some PCBs and from others experience it works first time and it's very stable.
Here are some pictures of what i have build sofar.
The Vanderkoy is complete but i can not make it work without noise.
The Nostagia is complete but is without PSU. The picture also shows the CapMultiplier PCB.
The Elektor AXL frontend is the picture with the veroboards.

It's time for you to start to use proper designed PCB instead of those rat nests.
Specify "noise", please. Is it oscillating (my guess, looking on the build)? The Vanderkoy is complete but i can not make it work without noise.
