I've only tried Tim's link above.
The. .m3u8 files contain links to the real streams. No idea if the player mpd invokes can handle the indirect links.
There's only so much testing I can do before breakfast.
Good luck,
Phil
The Radio 4 HLS stream works for me. Not sure if I'm doing this the optimum way but I:
1. copied existing Radio4 .pls file from the Radio folder
2. edited it and pasted http://as-hls-uk-live.bbcfmt.vo.lln...io_one-audio=320000.m3u8?dvr_window_length=24 over the existing URL
3. saved and renamed .pls file to something different
4. copied new .pls file back to Radio folder on RPi and from the MoOde UI did a "Update this folder" for RADIO on the Browse tab

I'm having issues with tr3 on PiZero. It does boot but never gets to the prompt and keeps displaying "mmc0: fsm 1, hsts 0". Will try to reinstall to see if it helps.

How do I test these BBC HLS streams?
By the way the "triple j" stations didn't work for me.
Hi,
Updated direct stream links and permalinks for AU stations below will be included in Moode 2.6 TR4
ABC Country
ABC Jazz
Triple J
Triple J Unearthed

hmm.. my issue seems to be solved by reinstalling of TR3 and then first booting without the wifi card.
After connecting the wifi card and rebot - all was ok (except not working AP mode, but this is surelly my usb wifi's cause).
I've configured wifi manually (as before) and all is ok.

During the boot process, the uSD card gets mounted as /dev/mmc0. The general rule of thumb is that an mmc0 error indicates the data on the card is corrupt. Reinstalling was the right first response. Don't know that booting without the wifi card was necessary but you're past that now 🙂
Enjoy.

Hi Tim,
Working fine!!!!!
Many many thanks for this, I can dump my Squeezeplayer now!
I just picked an existing Radio station on the browse page. clicked add new station and added for example:-
BBC3HLS
and the url:-
http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/liv...lcast/hls/uk/sbr_high/ak/bbc_radio_three.m3u8
Playing as I type.
I got my list from BBC Radio : Raspberry Pi - Page 3 • RuneAudio Forum (reply by pushedtempo)
cheers

Hi,
It might be due to new mmc driver in Jessie. The link below describes an issue that is somewhat similar to yours.
https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/1317
Try adding dtoverlay=mmc to /boot/config.txt. This is supposed to revert to using the old mmc driver and interface.

Excellent! BBC Radio3 at 320kbps playing right now. Thanks to all, esp. Tim.
Static
I've experienced a few "sound of static" moments and I'm not sure what the culprit is.
I'm using mooderpi3.img on a Raspberry Pi 3 B with a USB DAC over wifi.
I haven't done a ton of testing but it seem to go to static occasionally when playing a high bit rate AAC or Flac file. It can do it in the middle of the song.
I've had it cut-out when wifi is funky (our microwave tends to do this with other devices) but this doesn't seem to be signal related.
Pausing and restarting works sometimes.
I hope I'm not being too vague.
Ideas?

Verified that the BBC HLS streams work fine using the urls I posted earlier.
Any chance of creating duplicates of the BBC stations (suffixed by HLS) with the HLS urls for the next TR?
Thanks for all your good work.

...hope I´ll be not off-topic too much - Droid owners, what app are you using for controlling Moode/MPD??

I use Chrome, using the 'Add to Home Screen' option, the shortcut opens up Chrome fullscreen giving an app like user experience.
The standard Moode web interface

Hi Phil,
NAS mounts are last item performed in module worker.php just before it enters its job processing loop. Worker.php is started in /etc/rc.local. It may be that worker needs to be started via systemd script.
The systemd information on running services after the network is up is at the link below. I'll have to study this and see what might be possible.

Thats the plan. I have the HLS url's for the BBC stations currently included with Moode.

for the latest test release I can bring up the web interface on moode.local and I can navigate to folders via the ubuntu places menu but I can't ssh in.
Tried ssh root@moode and ssh pi@moode and ssh pi@raspberry and combinations. Checked the release notes, read the recent posts about changes to ssh and still lost.
What am I doing wrong ?
