Modelling MLTL Enclosures

Wait no it would taper into a 2"x4" section. Your looking at the side of the box so it's always x" by 4"
Okay, I understand. I think I might have just misspoken there. Alright, last question, and then I think I can start building tomorrow! What do the foam percentages indicate? For example, if you say section 1 should have 50% foam volume, does that mean that I should fill half of that cavity with damping material?

Yes get some cheap acoustic foam the egg crate. Also the percentage volume needs to be adjusted by the taper so the foam thickness should fallow the taper of the sections if there is a taper so really 50 percent of the volume of the crossection of the horns flare at any point so section 2 ends up being a 2"x4"x4" so you should use a 1x4x4 piece of foam. Foam should be the crosssection not the volume.

Just a heads up it's tuned to 50hz so if you decide to listen at like 9 ft or so you need to highpass it around 40hz or you will damage the driver. But if your near field and under 10 watts your good without any filters. Also make sure
You got some feet so it's
Off the desk or floor by a inch or so
