Difficult decision - decide for y-ourself and freely from your gut, no matter what reasons guide you ... a surprise from the layout designer.

I'm happy with your feelings what is or should be the best one; there is also catd's PSU-Board or other SuperRegulators.

No, it is an additional resistor so that C202 can also find a way to charge or so that a reference to the GND is established.

One general comment on modern PCB's.
In the old days DIY boards were home "developed" single layer. You had wire bridges and sometimes extended the component leads to make conductor passovers. Capacitors were often axial. These exposed leads were often handy to attach oscilloscope probes to. If it's not too big of a hazzle or this comment is late, would it be possible add some test points? Like common ground, power rails, maybe signal. before the EQ.
Maybe I'm just old fashioned :|

Answering without any authority. I for one will use the @catd PSU from the OREAD thread. Others may want to use some super-regulator (suitable name for Supra2024 😀) I think it's to overdo it to include a PSU in this stage.

Why such a huge C203?
If you don't want an electrolytic capacitor, there are also smaller 10µF film capacitors with a 5mm pitch.
Just as an example from WIMA: MKS2 50V 10µF RM5, 7.2x11mm

C203 is a NP cap (KiCAD has no fottprints for large NP caps, And I didn't bother to create one) I happened to have a lot of. I have no small pitch high uF caps. Thats why... 🙂
