Mission speakers Any ideas on the Audax 110mm driver

I just took a chance on a pair of 110mm Audax drivers on eBay
Price was a giveaway [ $30- posted] but I have been unable to find any data for the polymer framed midrange. All the seller has indicated is that they are spare parts from the Mission M5, and new and his last pair

I don't need them but I was interested in how good they could be for the money
Seller will post soon so they will arrive by the end of the week

OK These little drivers have arrived. They look just like the Audax HP100GO

So as I am not familiar with them has anybody any advice on using them? The sound a little strident in the top end running them full range so I'm guessing I can't use them out to 4k and utilise the little Audax Mylar dome of which I have several

That is a nice little unit, I'd build a 5 litres cabinet (assuming tsp off as usual) and aim for a 3kHz xo point to a small flange neo tweeter for the most compact baffle design. I am in the middle of a similar build, only a 6.5" midwoofer in a sealed cabinet.

I have some, similar AP100ZO in 7 litres and they sound nice.

Aren't the G0 variants paper cone, or PP?

My recollection was the Z suffix denoted HDA polymer.

With the higher Qts and Fs, sealed at about 6 litres as Lojzek says....

Coated paper cone with these.
Listening for a while they are OK but not as good as the cheap Aussie Jaycar drivers I still have. But then I only paid $30- to my door for the pair of them.
At that cost I am happy to sit on them until a need arises

Cone break-up, especially with cheap drivers can be misleading.

Yes I accept that and know I'll need to cross lower at around 2500/3k but that will need different tweeters and not the 12mm Mylars

Just a quick update on using these. I have a mate who is interested in some small but high quality speakers for computer use and back ground noise while working from home.
I couldn't get acceptable bass on their own but when I added in a .5 Dayton 4" woofer at ~200Hz and changed the limiting coil to 0.47mH with a big tweeter [25mm silk dome] they really started to sing. Small sealed box for both drivers ~ 3 litres for each; as my mate may use a subwoofer

Update.
They fit the cut-out in my Roadkill speakers. These make a better midrange for a party speaker than the ones I was going to use.
So my mate gets a small 2-Way using the Jaycar and my daughter gets these for her party needs

I built a ported MTM bookshelf design with these drivers many years ago. They served well until they let the smoke out... due to party use.

I was planning on a second order XO at around 400/500 to try and avoid that majik smoke escape
