Note to all builders: the DIL like arrangement of the valve pin outs is not at regular approx 7.5mm spacing, so don't buy sockets until you have measured! Yes I know this to my own cost [emoji846]
Thought the normal DIL spacing was supposed to be 2.54mm between legs???

Jazid.... I think you´ve measured something wrong here.
Had to go get mine and measure them.
Between pin 1 & 4 on each socket is exactly 7.62 mm (3 x 2.54).
I bet, yours can´t be different from mine 🙂

I got this sockets from a friend many , many years ago . TO-99 PTFE , the same like here :

Very rare in these days and not cheap .

Will remeasure, but I am talking about the spacing between pins 1 and 8 which as I understand is supposed to be the same? Either way my sockets don't fit, too wide [emoji16]
Jazid is right : the distance between the two rows of pin ( pin 1 to pin 8 ) is less than 7.62 mm 😡

Just cut the socket into to halfs (2 x 4pins).
Then they´ll be easy to mount 🙂
