Hi, I am able to get this nice heatsink (see below) for US$35 shipped from Australia to my home in Colorado 80526, and I was wondering if there are any interested parties out there. You will have to pay shipping from Fort Collins, CO 80526 using
http://www.ups.com
Estimated dimensions are 15" (L) by 10" (W) by 10" (H). Weight is 5.5lb.
The specs are attached to the next thread.....Richard

By the way, the dimensions in the spec sheet you have attached are not very clear. If I am reading them correctly they are: 294L X 77D X 151H, correct?

Any chance to get the boards with the heatsinks?😉
I knew I've seen them before http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4854

Tony - you never got back to me after I e-mailed you before about the MECI sinks.
I'm thinking of ordering a pair for myself too - would you be interested in splitting the shipping, seeing as we're both here in Vancouver?
It'd be cheaper for both of us that way. 🙂

Hi Peter,
I actually stole the picture from Mark Finnis to show the heatsink. You will have to contact him for boards.

Hi ThingyNess,
Sorry about not getting back to you. Actually I am going to have the sinks delivered to my mail box in Blaine which makes shipping and customs issues a lot easier.
Not to mention the fact that UPS from the US to Canada is a nightmare.
You are welcome to include your sink order with mine and I will collect the sinks, do customs and bring them to Vancouver where you can pick them up at my house as I am doing this any way and it is no big deal to take care of yours as well.

Would a pair be enough for Aleph 2 ? Or should I stick with Aleph 5 like someone else already did ?

Also, I will be out of town starting this afternoon attending a wedding and won't be back till the 29th. So if you have a question for me, I will reply on the 29th (probably late afternoon or early evening).
Have a great weekend,
Richard

Hello Jean,
1 pair of these heatsinks will not be enough for an Aleph 2. What 'speakers are you using?
It may be that the added complexity, expense and hassle of the 2 are not required, also the 5 has been done so many times that most if not all of any potential problems you may face have been solved.

Hello Tony,
I was thinking 1 pair for stereo Aleph 5 or 2 pair of heatinks for 2 mono Aleph 2s.
I use diy 2 way speakers, about 86-88db.

Guys, would a pair be enough for mono Aleph 2 ? Transformers and power caps etc are not a problem , I just want to make sure it will not overheat. If a pair is not big enough for one channel of Aleph 2 then i'll use them for Aleph 5.
Hi! I just saw your'e regarding the heat sink that you are selling if you have an extra pair that you can sell me please email me at nbaula@concentric.net so we can discuss the payment option.
