I have an idea to test PP OPTs using reverse method; What if we drive the secondary using a SS amp and series load resistance and then take the signal from primary anode taps into voltage divider and then into Focusrite balanced input, something like this:
So what do you think about it, can this work??

Thanks, I'm gonna do that. One question though; on my drawing the center tap should go to ground? Or should it not to connect to anything?Perhaps try it, along with the reverse direction, then assess and write up your results.
In an amp, the CT is effectively at ground, as is one end of the secondary, so testing should be equivalent so as to maintain voltage levels across internal capacitances.
