I used 12AX7 > 2N5551 concertina > 6922 & NPN BJT > transformer > speakers
No feedback enough gain to get 25 W out of iphone

That looks like a fun little amp you made. I am getting more into solid-state myself lately and I am probably going to replace the KT88s with Mosfets in my Unity-Coupled amp if tests go well with heatsinks that fit the space I have available on my case.SpreadSpectrum, that has more silicon then mine![/url]
Thanks SpreadSpectrum, I'm thinking of making a tube OTL amp using the 6922 and BJT super triode configuration.
Well, I contacted that guy with the reproduction MacIntosh chassis and asked him to let me know when he's back online and I just got the email so I pulled the trigger on that chassis. I should get it in the next couple of weeks: McIntosh MC275, MC-275 - New Reproduction Chrome Chassis | eBay
