) wich makes would allow me to work balanced and allow me to use passive volume control (attenuator) with less hassle.[/B]

The UCD's have the highest input impedance and have truly balanced inputs, 3 chip. All the others are semi balanced, 1 chip.

Regarding the sound differences between the amps: when using the same cabinet, psu/wiring scheme/protection system and input amp./all dc coupled the answer is simply.....minimal!!!
Just choose the easiest to build/most affordable amp.

There is either something totally right or totally wrong. What speakers are you playing them with?

I'm not saying which one is right or wrong (all are good 😀), but so called "emotions" can be result of amp's distortion, usually harmonic distortion.

I hope you like sex even you cannot understand all bio-chemical procedures in your body

😀

I think that the concern of "harmonic distortion" is not enough to explain Class-T in their main features...

I prefer not knowing everything. It will take all the fun 😀

There's some measurement of Class-T amps.
http://www.michael.mardis.com/sonic/measure/
http://www.michael.mardis.com/sonic/waveforms.htm

I read about +0,2/+0,3 dB at 10 kHz for most Models. Its acceptable I think. I am not sure - can human hear most details over 10 kHz ?? Even a +1 dB at 15 kHz ??

And by the way: Tripath amps are more honest than the most solid states outside regarding "true reproduction" of CD-Information.

Maybe the emotions come from the CD and not from the amp

It's beyond your understanding because you are so heavily biased towards Hypex that you can't fathom how anything else could even come close to sounding good.

this is the answer to you. I know the feeling that some one say that your product is not better than others.

Mr bgt and Mr. koonka are my end users , they also have two modules(M and U ). so i think they have rights to compare this two.
they have tell other what they heard.
as BGT post: mcd is easy to install to get good sounding. no need to change this or that
that's enough , thanks BGT

btw: mcd-1202 is using a mcd-5 version 120w 4ohm modles
not mcd-255 (mcd-255 is version 5 , now version 6)
also we have another more power version, mhzpower 4 (400w)

too busy all this year, if some one want to meet with me,
please : fumac1 at gmail dot com

It's good you found the time to advertise being so busy. Perhaps with a few more years we can expect those EMI results you promised.

If BGT said as you claim before thanking himself, It's strange to see he'd modified his modules by the second post, but all his amps sound the same to him already.

Hello Kooka,

I got by chance to this old thread, looking for the Mosscade speakers on the net.
Reading trough the thread I got curious also about your diy amp.
Would it be possible to be invited for a quick listen to your system? 🙂

how is the thd at 4ohms load?

dear fumac:
very good specs!
maybe it is the best one,I have had ucd180 ucd 182 and ucd 400,and a system based on zetex ddfa, bobitrans 1*50amp also.
yes,I do designs.
could you show us the thd at 4ohms load?
that is very important, mostly system is not good enough at 4ohms,
and mcd vi could reach 0.001%?
great!
