HELP i have just changed caps on power supply and those 2 opamp caps and its buzzing and distorted any idea what i have done wrong
I have only just noticed that i ordered and then fitted 16v 4700uf instead of the 25v 4700uf and when i switch the cd player on and turn the amp up the RIGHT CH is badly distorted and the LEFT CH does not work at all so i put the old power supply caps back in but still the same. Do you think it could have done some damage someware else

The caps should not have caused the other problems. Measure the voltages on pin 4 and pin 8 of both opamps. You may be missing a voltage. Look for +/- 12V.

CHEERS brent thanks for help simon as been over tonight but still a broken cd player. He will no doubt fill you in what he as tried but looks like the DAC may have gone can i still buy them
