May I suggest a notch filter 0.47mH | 0.8uF to flatten MAOP11's 7khz and 9khz spikes. I had to do something like that for Alpair 10.3's 7-14khz plateau. Or try omni firing upward.

We tried to reduce the peaks above 7kHz. But with or without the peaks, we couldn't hear the difference.

But we are both over 60. Our sensitivity to high notes may be diminished.

Speakers needed to be toed in to have very high frequency hit the ears. And HF even above hearing as sine wave still added brightness (which I learned/confirmed doing the notch; I was 60).
