mmm, You should go for the easy pink instead of the tight brown. Occasionally, you miss the pink and end up with the brown anyway!! 😱
Sometimes there are loads of reds to play for, but I only dabble in snooker once a month and to sink the pink you have to clear a red first.

Women? Woah, steady, I was talking about snooker.
How's the new re-clock going?
It sounds very good, that little bit more air and detail.
Ask Lee later when he gets back home as he was around at ours listening last night

Bloomin' unbelievable sound. Never heard anything with so much space, detail and realism. I proper eye-opener I have to say.

Why thank you Mr Lee. Good to catch up again and listen to some music I don't normally listen too.

I'm fed up now. Shortened the wires, tried a different crystal, It worked until I wired the sevo. I wonder if I could have damaged TDA1301 when I lazily cut out R126 and spent ages trying to connect to the stub. Iv'e taken the PCB out and wired it properly now. It reads the TOC and then skips like mad. Iv'e got another KI I can try it on, but I don't want to bugger that one up as well.Think i'll go up the snooker club and down a few reds (red bull, that is) or go on ebay and buy another sillyscope cos I can only see red here. It's Brents fault!
Haha as long as it's my fault that's ok 😉
If it is reading the toc then the TD1301 is fine. I would hard wire out the Ribbon from the RF pcb to the main pcb first to eliminate that as a problem area as you can't measure them.

Yes, 'twas a good night.
Seem to remember you liked the french techno, but not Yeasayer, lol.
Lee.
ffs!!!
C2 out of the TDA, oscillator changed to 11Mhz, additional flip flop attached for /8 (but not yet powered), 4 x Brent Caps arrived (another 6 available), 4 x 9v 7va TX's and a 12v 80va ordered. Spowers coming out next! It better be worth it!!! lol

Nothing to loose! I've got a bin full of regs, a couple of players and I'm completely pissed off with my DAC so I'm gonna have a play! I've still got a couple of other TDA dacs that I can run spdif with the squeezebox.
I need a "mostly working from home" job for a couple of weeks again LMAO!

Now i'm really confused. I did not want to hard wire the ribbon yet because iv'e got a lot more mods to do so I swapped the ribbon from my other Ki and it was the same. I re-fitted X101 and R126 and it all works perfectly. So now I look at the tent module and the only thing I can se is 2 x 47ohm resistors in series. Measured ok. All soldering OK. What am I missing???
Can someone confirm that when clocking the servo I remove X101 AND R126 and connect to the RIGHT side of where R126 was, looking from the front. Thank you. I'm snookered!!
Barry, to be shure, count the pins and look for Pin 19 (XTLIN), connect your clock there, that should be it......but you probably have done that....
Did you check if your crystal/Clock sees the right voltages? If it offers several divided frequencies, you may check again if you tapped the right one.....
