Yes. When I have finished school i will hopefully work with something that has to do with audio 🙂
I know that Spain will be warm in August. But I think it will be fine. The last time I visited Greece we had 40c in the shade and I survived that one 🙂
The other destinations will be for meeting friends, not really holidays 🙂 Will be travelling with some americans and hopefully some more ppl with join us down to South Africa 🙂

zman01, you asked how my build went. Well, it hasn't, I am still working on the braces, my tools got mad and fought back so I have given them some time to think over the actions before I play with them again.
Maybe I will have them done by the end of July, I sure hope so. I am really slow in actually getting these done, but maybe by the end of July.

It took me a lot of time to put the Super Pensils together... and the holey braces are pretty intimidating.
Once you're done let us know how they play. Recently, I built a pair of CHR-Ken's - they really rock for the cabinet size, and specially for the cone size of the CHR-70.

My daughter (29) lives and works in Bermuda -certainly at a higher standard of living (cost and income) than her folks at that age. Both her and 2 years younger brother have already managed more extensive globe-trotting than Sue & I have in 40yrs together. Right now she's doing Barcelona, Granada, etc. Just this morning we got an e-mail (pictures to follow) where she visited the castle of Charles V at Alhambra - having watched a particular concert video and listened to the audio CD countless times, it feels like I'm with her in spirit.

Just found an Onkyo A-8027 with a broken phono-input for sale for $19. I think i'll buy it. If more stuff is broken than just the phono-input i could atleast maybe salvage some stuff from it for future builds 🙂
I could try some sort of subwoofer arrangement now since i have two amplifiers. i guess the Onkyo could power my Mar-Kel70 ok?

However the CHR-Kens are putting on such a nice performance for most (not all) stuff, sometimes it feels that big cabinets are really not required 😀

We only really got summer within the last couple weeks. I am still plotting to get some near anechic measures. Biggest issue is figuring out how to support the mic.
