Making Windows 11 more usable, less annoying, and an easier transition

This does happen . The piratebay will install a script to make your browser become a part of distributed bitcoin mining.
I've allowed it , since most chrome based browsers run in a "sandbox" . The piratebay script will use 20-30% of my processor
power to "do it's thing". When I turn on the chromium based typical ad-blockers .... 1-2% is what I get.

^^ Was that the one where the Romulans downloaded the logs of the Yamato after it encountered the probe?
Yes. At least they HAD a copy of Windows on an actual CD. If they didn’t the Enterprise and the Romulans would both be dead in space. When they ship PCs now you get nothing, so unless you can finagle your way back to the Net (with the assistance of another computer) the damn thing is bricked. You may have all your data backed up somewhere, but the os itself is another matter.

I have a buddy who is a college professor who just keeps a couple of his machines up and running by reinstalling XP every 30 days. Can’t activate it, so just wipe, reinstall, and reload data. Gets corrupted, same solution. Not as easy with 7,8,10 or 11.

Maybe not for 8,10/11 .... but a tool called "remove WAT" (Xp or W7) has existed for a decade that fully removes the "activation technology'' -yah , sure....
I have two 7 installs that have no product ID's or any other BS in computer properties. One has been running 5 years , but it is for a embedded industrial
use. I don't feel bad , win 7 is outdated - sure ???
Win 10/11 , has a new form of WAT . Too embedded and not worth losing the security updates. LTSB (below) just looks at the hardware ,calls M$ once
to activate/update. I don't feel bad about this one either , I am just a ASUS generic corporate machine running with some corporate license. FULLY
LEGIT till 2028.
PS - I am "USER" - PC is "DOOMSVR". Why would anyone ever put any names in them boxes ??
EDIT - I DID have to reinstall with a full motherboard swap and communicate with M$ again. PCI-E card swaps don't require this , or processor swaps
of the same generation. A Intel V3 to V4 change will , it must also look at the architecture in the CPU upon activation.
OS
