Hmmmm... 10 years and counting for the latex rubber on my Wharfefedale Super 10s and my Super 3s and no hardening....peeled a corner off on the frames where I over-painted and it remains as elastic and pliable as ever...must be something in the particular formulation of the product i used at the time...I'll see if I can find the old container and check out the ingredients used in this product.
I offered it as a suggestion as it is one of the few products mentioned here that one can reverse easily without damaging the cloth surrounds as well as compare dampening etc. with pre-treated figures and remove if unfavourable.
