sorry, i could not open the BOM before as my pdf didn´t work.
Though are those drivers good?
Thanks, and regards!

My trafos are measured unloaded at 2x38Vac(2kwatt) fore output and 2x43Vac fore input...hope thats ok
chalo;
Regarding other transistors please check pin layout, Wattage and SOA (please understand that my time is limited and that I can't check parameters for all who want's to use other devices).
Pin layout for both the drivers and output devices are: B C E
The 42VDC version provides app. 200W into 4 Ohms and 100 into 8 Ohms.
For the 50VDC version the numbers are 135W/8 and 270/4.
Vp^2/(2*RL) e.g. = 40^2/(2x8) = 100 Wrms
jan.
Can I use 2sc4793/2sa1837 in place of mje´s, as long as
2sc5200/2sa1943 for the output?
And what other options of opamp would work here?
opa 2134?
with the rails voltage you suggested what is the expected output?

If you intend to benefit from the 2kwatt output trafo you need to ad many extra pairs of output devices and use 1 Ohm speakers 😉
Your trafos gives you app. 54VDC for the input section and 60VDC for the output section. Normally you would use higher Voltage for the input section (VAS) than for the output stage to compensate for the Vbe loss (3x0.7V) in the predrivers/drivers/output devices.
Note that your output could never be higher than the Voltage at your VAS stage (54VDC minus some losses).
🙂
Forgot: Your trafos can do the job 😉

I think you might have misunderstood, and reversed data, or I may not have been very clear...it is actually like you suggest, 60VDC fore input and 54VDC fore output...so its all fine I guess 🙂
I would be interested in 10 boards.
Iam pretty new to this board, so i cant pm u my information. Iam mailing it instead.

Jan - Typically what bias level do you use with the Lynx? I am interested in using several boards for a home theater system and want something which is not a room heater. There are all sorts of very good class A designs, but they are not attractive in this sort of application. Also have you tried using an inexpensive op amp such as a TL071 or an NE5532 in place of the OPA device? Regards, HK
Hi Jan,
Greetings from New Zealand,
I've just added 4 boards to the wiki.
Thanks for organizing this!
Cheers, Marco

Well I just up'd my personal board count to 10 pieces. That makes 143 total.
Think we can hit 200 by Tuesday??

Yes you can use all types of Single Unity Gain Opamps with the pin configuration as attached. I personally have used the old LF356 several times 😉
You can safely run it at 30-50mA quesent Current per output device.

Hi Jan.
We can make 200 boards. Do you know if there is a further price reduction at the 200 mark.
If there is I will increase my order and I am sure others will also. This should also encourage new buyers especially if you can get a price less than 5.00 euro per board. This is very economical for a gold plated board of this size.
You should advertise the price here if you can, to encourage as many buyers as possible for this great design.
Also, advertise the PSU pcb you are working on to go with the amp PCB's
Best Regards
Gary..

Thanks for that, it will be interesting to see if you can make it to 200 boards.
How are you going on the PSU pcb track layout.

EDITED!!
Did a miscalculation in freight cost.
Price per pcb if 200 pcs. is reached are as follows:
DKK 40,00 (app. €5.40 / $7.95)
