Pull out pin 2, 4, 6. Then you are left with 4 pins for drains & source.
A 3-pin version with pin 2 removed will take care of the 2 gates on the reverse side of the PCB.

🙂 perfect idea, you found, but after removing 2, 4, 6 it should be possible
to use 2 of them on the other side.

If you can get 0.5mm (or even better at 0.4mm) thick PCB, then they will be perfect as the plastic part is 2.14mm thick.
So the 2 rows of pins (D & S on front side, gates at the back) will end up almost exactly 2.54mm apart, as in 2SK389.

After a busy week I ordered the boards today and expect to
receive them in 2-3 weeks.

If you want to be totally compatible to the 2SK389, you will need
1x S9016E-07-ND AND 1x S9016E-03-ND (I am afraid)
so that you can have the 2 gate pins offset to the drain & source by 2.5mm.

It's finally ready? Do you create a GB where people can ask they wants? prices, expected time to receive the adaptors,etc. As I understood the adaptor will be to replace the trough hole 2SK389BL, right?

I still have a bunch of adapters that I made back in the day, if anyone wants some.
The pins are installed first, then the device is soldered on top. The trick is to place the pins inside a zigzag socket (or using the PCB that you're about to install the device in as a guide works) while soldering the pins and the device.
I like Patrick's solution though, but I've done probably 25 or so in the above manner, so it can be done.

My solution is better. Less footprint, easier to solder.
Michael is busy. I also have not heard from him.
But we agreed to order enough for everyone.
And price will be much less than 1 Euroa piece, but depends how many can be accounted for.
