Hi Neil
Could you please give me the make and model and cost of the batteries you are using?I see you installed two and I guess two are better than one. I got the same controller but I haven't finished it yet and I will need a battery for it .
Regards
George

I used two batteries only because i could not fit a 12V 7.2AH comfortably in my chassis. I wired two 6 volts in series to get 12V. If you don't have a space restriction get a 12 volt 7.2AH SLA as it will be cheaper than the 6 volt equivalents. The 7.2 means how many amps the cells will put out over an hour. Since the battery controller draws less than an amp the battery will power the turntable for +-7 hours between charges. I used a Panasonic but any standard one will do. Try:
www.batterwholesale.com or another online dealer. They usually run in the $16 to $20 range

Glad to see the controller worked well in your application, and that you have a very nice PCB 😉
Great work Neil. However, I cannot see any pictures on your website for the LP12.

I am in the process of rebuilding my website. So far only Zen and KSA50 are active. I will try to to the LP12 tonight and perhaps a few others.
As an aside don't upgrade from iweb '08 to '09 or you might find yourself rebuilding quite a few web pages
Thanks for looking
