Hello everyone 🙂 I want to build a guitar practice amp , i already have the preamp so i need to build a simple power amp with a chip . I need something that has more output than the lm386 , but which can be build with minimum parts , just like the lm386 (http://www.hobby-hour.com/electronics/lm386-20.gif) . It will be working on 9 volts . Thanks

You can only get some extra power with class D. But if you stick to 9 volt you will not get much more. An amplifier module capable of delivering 25 watt and also working from 8 volt, will NOT give you 25 watt.

...great advice mondogenerator
get a decent +/-12 volt supply and build this...low parts count, great sound
