Hello everyone 🙂 I want to build a guitar practice amp , i already have the preamp so i need to build a simple power amp with a chip . I need something that has more output than the lm386 , but which can be build with minimum parts , just like the lm386 (http://www.hobby-hour.com/electronics/lm386-20.gif) . It will be working on 9 volts . Thanks
You can try a vellman kit which are fairly cheap like the k4001. Velleman, Inc. - Item - Details - K4001
Quite a number ask about practice amps for electric guitars.
Why?
When I was at University one of my peers carried around his bass guitar. Pulled up a seat and practiced any where. No amplifier needed.

The TDA7267 will deliver about 1.5 watts into a 4 ohm load with 9 volt supply. The LM386 can't really handle 4 ohm loads at 9v as it can only do about .75w under the same conditions. Either should get loud with an efficient speaker.
LM1875 would be my choice...
He said a 9v supply. The LM1875 would not work. 9v is its minimum operating voltage so he could run into problems.
The TDA2003 requires a minimum 8 volts for proper operation, so a 10% droop in mains voltage will bring it too close for comfort. Having said that, many wall warts actually supply higher output voltage that specs under load would imply. I would measure voltage with the expected load and see how much the voltage actually sags, that way you'll know for sure.

My TPA3116 worked down to about 4V so yeah. Very hard indeed to DIY though as those chips are miniscule - you'd really need to start with a pre-built board.

And then just imagine how the tube screamer sounds, or the reverb, feedback, octaver etc. Then you could drop the guitar entirely.
For non-amplified rehearsal we have something called acoustic guitar😀
what are you referring to here?just imagine how the tube screamer sounds, or the reverb, feedback, octaver etc.

A practice amp will not reproduce the "Live sound" of the PA system.
