Lovoltech power Jfet groupbuy

.......well guys, i really don't know what to do.

The only thing that would be fair to all involved would be to make
an order for 4,500 pieces.

The problem is at that size i feel the group buy is to large for me to handle. I don't feel comfortable handling over 4,000 dollars
and shipping to probably close to 100 people.

I feel like i'm letting the side down here, but i figure better to
be straight with all of you before money gets involved.

Still open for ideas.

We should cap it at 2250. Who sends stuff COD anyways? That's crazy.

If we all get the same, however many actually decide to go through with the actual purchase, it will be much easier to get the job done for Moe. Easier to pack, easier too collect the money, easier to keep track of everything.
If all 75 of us go through with it it will be 30 pieces each. More than enough I say.

If you want more you can trade afterwards with other members of the forum in your own country.

That's my 2c

How 'bout this...

In just 8 days the wiki has accumulated orders for a current total of 3,225 pieces (somebody's math was wrong so I corrected the total from 3,145 pieces).

The first 50 orders in the list comes to 2,230 pieces, just 20 pieces short of the 2,250 piece minimum order.

Why not just pull the trigger for a single 2,250 piece order and take care of the first 50 people on the list, then open the group purchase for another 2,250 piece order starting with the remaining 25 people on the list.

That starts us off with 995 pieces, only 1,255 short of a second 2,250 piece order.

I think there's a good chance to fill that within a few weeks. If not, Nelson will pony up for the remainder since he started this mess in the first place. 😀

Moe,

It appears to me it would be the EASYEST FOR YOU to sell everyone who is on the list the quantity of 30 pcs.
Easiest to check the payment coming in, to pack the same amount into each bag and would have to deal with only two amounts of payment coming in and paying for postage - one for USA and one for outside USA. Take only Paypal for quick reliable processing of payment and set the date due when payment should be made. Inevitably (for whatever reason) there would be some people not paying in time and you could then offer the reamining amount of VFETs to those who wanted more and would apply to you via email (settle this with them via email rather than offering it on the forum, because that would cause a mess on the forum).

And for ordering the second 2250 pcs. later, let someone else else do the job, if you will feel you've had enough work and frustration on the first lot.

I would say that since you will be the one taking all the trouble doing this, you are the one who has the right to do it in the way that is the best FOR YOU! You should not feel bad if you can't satisfy everyone. Please, just don't get out of this deal! That would certainly not be good for anyone...
