They're up!!!

Sorry it took me so long to get around to getting these matched, I was tied up working with a new tube guitar amp company (Simple Amps) check them out if you're a player. I've just matched about the first 400 or so LU1014D's and they are up on the site for $2.75.

Have fun with them everyone (I know I will... once I get some free time to start building)

Thanks for the question, I want to make sure I'm doing this right. I used the test circuit that Nelson Pass provided. I used a 10A 12V linear PS with a LM317 and 330ohm resistor to bring the voltage down to 3V.

"It's quite simple, as seen from the circuit. A measurement of
the Vgs under identical conditions is adequate for most
applications. The value is useful for creating differential pairs,
and in cascoded single-ended applications becomes valuable
when selecting a Source resistor to ground." - Nelson Pass

I matched Vgs to the hundreds place (1/100V), the numbers on the website are the values they had when I tested them with my source and the piece of aluminum I'm using as a heat sink (changing the size of the piece of aluminum changed the Vgs by as much as .01V, I'm using the identical rig for all 12,000 JFET's.

I have all the separate numbers because of the way our website works, once I matched them into groups I had to have some way of keeping them all separated here at the warehouse and easy to pull for orders (for the warehouse guys)

You can order whatever multiples of one Vgs or another that you want... if you purchase 4 matched at 1.00 all 4 had a Vgs of 1.00 under identical conditions. Same thing, if you order 20 matched at 1.01 Vgs, they would all be within .01V of each other (they all had a Vgs of 1.01V under these conditions).

After the first sort of parts, I re-check each Vgs group by themselves a second time, one right after the other to catch any possible mistakes

Let me know if this sounds all right...

Dave

Dave,
Three weeks ago I asked a question via the e-mail address posted on the Deep Surplus web site "will you be selling the Lovoltech LU 1014D in the near future?". The e-mail response I received from two different people was "No". You guys may want to get on the same page over there.
Thanks,
Kevin

Sorry...

I'll check with the office tomorrow and see what's going on, I'm the only person here who even knows what a LU1014D is, so they're a little confused right now because I just put them on the web. I'm also going to talk to my boss and see what I can do about the $100 min. for international orders (I don't handle sales, I didn't even know that was the case)

sorry again, I'll get it straightened out...

Dave

I was able to place an order for 10pieces. At first I got an email saying that the item was out of stock, however after I replied I got a new email apologizing for the confusion. Then an email confirming that my order is shipping. So after a little back and forth it appears that the problem is resolved at deep surplus.

Thanks a lot for your concern Dave,

$95 to mail 16 LUs to Europe is a little steep no ?
and although the site publicizes the availability of Paypal as payment method it seems the office does not know !?

hope everything is straightened out.
