Loudspeakers - looking for a correlation between measurements and listening impressions

Thank you very much I did not know of harmonics So it can be seen as a complex signal ? like a multitones for instance that i also like
My rationale is the following I was watching a video where they were testing the tone controls of an amp with a SW
it is impressive how tone controls deform a SW I was suspicious of TCs before the video Now i wonder how people can even tolerate them
i would like to know Freud's opinion about the need for tone controls
to sum up i am looking for something objective
I am a little fed up with subjective evaluations not only not backed up by measurements but also mischievous
when they propose a measurement they do it in a negative way Not useful to judge the sound quality
as if their real goal is to reiterate the superiority of the subjective listening test for assessing sound quality
They will never convince me
the world would be better with more Mr Dunlavys
if the world has evolved is thank to scientists not salesmen

The original KHT 2005 Eggs are the best KEF speakers I've heard at ANY price. Ooops! Ginetto, you are not supposed to have heard me say that. Just keep sending me those horrible KEF KHT 2005 drive units 😊
Companies like Goodman were first into the surround sound market. Kef were the first hifi manufacturer to step in, so had to come in with something good. The reviews were great, ang everybody got a set to try. Then came the .1 version. Externally the original has the black tweeter, and the .1 version silver. There is just about nothing in common between these speakers, except visually. The later one's are poor speakers, replacing great one's. The divide can't be bridged in any respect.
