Since we should not discuss these issue here , even as rule #9 and even #11 has been touched upon (a little personal... even) , It should be about "the science of why we don't believe science".

IIRC, the recommendations for persuading others to one's own POV in the originally linked paper didn't involve banging heads together... perhap's it just human nature that we find that more entertaining though...
