What I'm doing here is observing your antisocial behaviour. It reminds me of people who vandalize public spaces, throw garbage over the fence into their neighbours' yards, and who stiff old, fat taxi drivers but not young, fit ones.I'm having fun here - are you?
You've got no class, bud.
Which kinda reduces the value (logically speaking) of any of your earlier posts
Yet value is not 'logical', rather its emotional. So time to tinker with your mental model of reality methinks 😀
Now I've worked out what drives you - yes. 🙂
Excellent, excellent 😉
331 posts! who started this thread?
Petemck did. It tries to explain vaccine/autism "theorists" , 9/11 issues , many other political "beliefs". Since we should not discuss these issue here , even as rule #9 and even #11 has been touched upon (a little personal... even) , It should be about "the science of why we don't believe science".
We could of applied this thought to our audiophile fanaticism/buying/design "beliefs" , but the discussion regressed to personal bickering. (and went on to 300+posts 😱 ) 🙁

The line of discussion is isomorphic with all the listening vs measurements type of discussions but here its far enough removed from most (not all) people's personal shibboleths that the bickering isn't out of control yet.... Riveting entertainment 😀
A shibboleth ( /ˈʃɪbəlɛθ/[1] or /ˈʃɪbələθ/[2]) is any distinguishing practice that is indicative of one's social or regional origin. It usually refers to features of language, and particularly to a word whose pronunciation identifies its speaker as being a member or not a member of a particular group.
Now your just showing off! And I am resorting to insults.

Must admit I'd never looked it up myself. First came across it reading a story in the Old Testament.

😀 My students often ask me 'how big does my vocabulary need to be?' and I reply 'size is not important, its what you do with it that counts' 😉
? Im indeed am claiming that SY's paper is carefully scripted to instill fear in a certain part of the public.
What? incredulous I am!
Too much nastiness.
No, its just a sign that the FrankWW 'Intentionviewometer' is not yet in a patentable state. Or perhaps it is - sufficient to persuade the gullibles in the Patent Office 😀 Keep up the good work anyway, one day you may crack it.
Well sure, but you also have a participant who has basically said he's not going to allow us to discuss the thread topic.
There's no good humour left here - it's miserable as sin.
Give ahole his victory lap and shut it down.

IIRC, the recommendations for persuading others to one's own POV in the originally linked paper didn't involve banging heads together... perhap's it just human nature that we find that more entertaining though...

Like I said.....

Could only be a mod with that kind of clout? Who he?

Correction - you are. What's the matter - can't take a bit of ribbing? If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Closing down the whole restaurant seems to be a bit of an over-reaction.
abraxalito, You are too lazy to google simple things, and pick fights because folk won't do it for you. 28000 entries in google scholar about '"energy budget" earth' but no, you don't have enough elementary curiosity to even look to see if I was bullshitting, and I was not, but you have enough malevolent energy to annoy, to no useful end, all, but one other participant, (who is vulnerable to his issues), and enough un-self awareness to celebrate this as great achievement because it's "exciting". Your word.
Juvenile stuff, kid.
