gota go shopping😉

working on this to hold the tube in place inside the case if it sounds good ill use it. its from a old sample i had for testing flash chips ill just mod it to hold the tube😉

Purple glow= a bad figure

Quote: "recycled like most of my parts"

I can see the purple glow, instead of orange in the tube... a bad figure....!! You might have to buy a new tube.......

Use tube dampers, to reduce microphonics.

But nice tube, Amperex brand.....

burn in?

whats a good time for a gainclone to burn in. this ones been running for a few hours now and it just keeps sounding better and better. it had very littile base now it has allot😀

it had a warmer sound to it and more base. but it needs more room in the case. do to heat and i didnt want to cut a hole in aluminum for venting the heat. im working on making another gainclone like peters daniels patek and it will have the screen on top. and wood on the sides. 😉

peter was right it runs to cool for this case so i installed the 200watt amp. now it gets warm and it fits

looks like im making another case for the clone🙁

this was the finished gainclone see pic
