Funny small program - calculator to get proper R, C for various simple schematics with LM317, TL431, LM317+TL431 etc.
Download link from russian page :
LM317 и LM317T схемы включения, datasheet, характеристики
Download link:
http://led-obzor.ru/pdf/lm317-kalkulator.exe
I just tried it and it works.
Rн = R load
Iн = I load
"н" = "нагрузка" = "Load" in Russian.

To "mchambin": where did you get this info?
Are you a programmer?
I am.
I am a top-level sysadmin, worked for banks and world's Top-100 companies.
No virus here.
2 online checks show no virus (one (out of 30+) red alert is nothing, a typical mistake).
VirusTotal
Dr.Web (R) online check
Additionally, my Comodo antivirus shows no virus.
Your info is useless.
Again: Where did you get this?

The provided link to the .exe file lauched weird things on my smartphone, that had no relation whatsoever, looking like scam, then aborted with a message "cannot open some .pdf".
Then it is clear that this is a virus 😀 This way of reasoning is standard in the EU, except when it it is a real virus of course 🙂
Unless your smartphone has Windows installed, it's gonna do weird things.
I sprayed the file with isopropyl and it definitely has no virus now.. 😉
Thanks for the link, Alex!

OK, here's the unpacked file, it is written using Delphi programming language. I don't think this will change the results of virustotal. I also checked what it does, it doesn't seem to be a virus.. file actual size after unpacking is 1.42 MB, we are changing the topic of this thread, I presume, end of story, I hope.

I downloaded the .exe to a Windows-7 laptop computer and ran three different virus scans upon it: Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware, and Avast. All of them said it was clean.
This was not a phone, it was a laptop.
The O/S was Windows 7, not Android or iOS

I did not mention my smartphone runs Android, I cannot even think about a Windoze here.Unless your smartphone has Windows installed, it's gonna do weird things.
So, weird things under Android is suspicious.
Guys, are you kidding me?!

Calm down, nothing to worry about. No viruses. There is no way to build a modern alive virus with the size of 116 kBytes. (Ok, it is possible, but it is a job for top-level programmer, and this virus will not live long).

The author of LM calculator, Nazar Shtybel, is a long time member of this diyaudio.com site forum board, from 2009 (as it was expected. I just wonder is there on planet Earth a standalone music lover, an electrician, who is not a member of this community?):
