Not sure why this thread got bumped but jeez I remember auditioning these with a Linn Axis vs Heybrook HB1s and Tannoy Mercury donkeys years ago.
The Linns are among the worst box speakers I've ever heard. I can't believe anyone who says they're anything other than utter dreck.
Remove the Hiquphons, keep them for another project, throw the rest in a garbage tip or bonfire.

No other user who bought this model from Linn at those days has ever given me such a bad rating.
Maybe a single device with individual deficiencies at cabinet, bass driver or crossover network.
