3 questions
1---will current drive break anything due to fist order passive between low mid and hi mid?
2--will the frequency change to the point where the linkwitz design is messed with?
3---am I forgetting to consider anything relevant?
Asking because I have four channel current drive chip amp that would be great to use due to compact form factor and I already have it of course.

It is bound to have some effect on response which will have to be brought back with EQ. This would be the case either with or without an existing crossover and it doesn't mean you need to remove that crossover.. although you clearly will be taking charge of the response situation regardless. In any case I'd have to ask myself whether the existing crossover is already giving the wanted effect.
That is actually very bad idea. The frequency response of a driver powered from a "voltage drive" 0-Ohm output impedance source and a "current drive" source with very high output impedance will be very different. Using your current drive amplifier will mess with the frequency response of the loudspeaker in a bad way.

A variation on the A26 design. That looks like it might work pretty well.
The series crossover creates a nearly flat impedance load. That's why it works okay with an amplifier with high output impedance.

Yeah thank you all I wasn't considering how much the frequency response will change. Always trying to take shortcuts! This gives me excuse to work on another amplifier!
Given that the Linkwitz is multi-amped.
Theren should be no issues as long as thedrivers are used in the flattish region of their impedance characteristic, but an OB does nothing to quell the resoance peak which will show up as a FR peak on the low bass.
New EQ would be required, but often the mostb common fix is to use a voltage amp on the bottom and current amps for higher up.

Even with equalization, I would not use current drive for the woofers, because changes in temperature or drive level could shift their impedance peak. The corresponding peak in the frequency response then also shifts. The equalization to counter that peak does not shift and will be wrong.
The other drivers do not suffer from the phenomenon, because they are not used near their resonance frequency.
