I suspect incandescent lamps will be around in small quantities for special purpose for a very long time. Possibly as a eBay item even.

I still can get the 500 watt version I use for my highest setting. (40, 100, 500).

This item does not ship to France.
I wonder whether this is not because, in France, we have the best ecologists in the world. -

There are still light bulbs in ovens - and neither LEDs or CFLs will survive those temperatures. so this might be another option.
