are you designing a speaker or a sound ship for the empire
very interesting designs I hope that it works out with all the effort you had to put into the design changes plus have to redo some calculations, yet very cool looking. Job well Obiwan for stealing the plans to the empires sound ship. Now we can party, may the force be with us.

The starwars reference gave me a chuckle mcmahon!
Hey, which bass drivers did you use at the end?
Ant, long time - what's new?
I've just looked back at this thread to find out what mitre saw you were blathering on about 😉 I just wanted to make a simple but heavy duty bench to put the milling machine on, and what started off with looking at budget saw's to do some simple cross cuts has ended up with me having to hide the invoices from the missus. I went and ordered the GCM10SD. dammit.
I feel a project coming on...
Anyway, what are you up to?

Nice.
Just tell her it's one of those cheap copies. Besides, she's probably spent more on shoes this month, yea?* 😀
* And hid the invoices from you

Yo Vik, everything's good good here.
The GCM10SD is a beast. I'm sure it'll outlast any of us and the precision of the cuts is sick once you've got it setup in the right environment.
As for what I'm up to its all a bit quiet round here and has been for the past 6 months. I've got no good reason to replace or upgrade anything in the system because there's a really nice synergy going on at the minute.
Sorry for the late reply. I've pretty much quit DIY for awhile until I get the bug again so haven't been around much. You got my mail if needed, always happy to help out.

Hi shin,
Did you get my email about XO?
I've fixed nearly all the images and they should appear now although you might need to press CTRL + F5 to clear the old page cache in order to view them.
HAppy new yrs to all of you, seem very interesting at here, and i am new to this thread..and this is 180 pages now.., wondering how;s the outcome now and any photos can be shared? as I am starting to do the same thing now.. and it is my first time too
ShinOBIWAN, you should posts pics of your DIY speakers on Skaaning's site.
Skaaning has nice pics of people who built speakers with his drivers on his site.
Just email him the pics of your speakers.

When your on the site, click on Gallery on the left side to see all the DIY speakers with Skaaning's drivers.

Hmm, trying to see pictures of this epic build... all the photo links throughout 180 pages seem to be dead for me.
This is unfortunately what happens over time when members do not use the forum server for hosting the images associated with their project. There's nothing that can be done to fix this issue after the fact. It is disappointing, but this is a very old thread.
